Details for the funeral of the late Chiedza Brown, daughter of late legendary entertainment pair Andy Brown and Chiwoniso Maraire have been released by a website for the organisers.
It is coupled with an obituary for the 15 year-old who took her own life:
Chiedza “Chi” Zvondiwe Brown, 15, of Providence Village, TX passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015 in Denton, TX. She was born December 13, 1999 in Bluff Hill, Harare, Zimbabwe to Andy and Chiwoniso (Maraire) Brown.
Chi is survived by her aunt Tawona Gatson, her sister Chengeto ,her cousins Shingirai, James Jr, Dumisani, Isaiah and Kudakwashe of Providence Village, TX. Also her siblings Devona, Ammara, Shahla, Alex, Vushe, Jason, Andy Jr, and Al. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be held at 6:30PM, Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Midway Baptist Church, 9540 Highway 377 in Pilot Point, TX 76258. Online condolences may be shared at www.slaymemorialfuneralhome.com.
