The announcement was made at a press conference in Harare on Tuesday.

There had been some speculation over whether the show would go ahead given the state of action over the disease which has claimed 31 people. The show organisers, Events Evolution, have now moved to deal with it with days to go before the show.

The outbreak had already forced the postponement of the Zimbabwe International Book Fair set for next week.

It was scheduled for this Saturday at Glamis Stadium.
