Carl Joshua Ncube delivers a smashing all female stand up comedy cast

When Carl Joshua Ncube said he would deliver a show with female stand up comedians only, many were like, erm, OK.

But the daring comedian has developed a reputation as an achiever and this he did on this show.

Chipo Chikara, Nelsy Ncube, Munyaradzi Guramatunhu and Wadzanai Chiuriri took the Hifa Global Stage after the Freshly Ground show in a show dubbed Girls Killing It. 

And with Transit Crew bellowing out in the Green a crowd came to watch the new faces of comedy in a craft that has been dominated by men in these parts.

None of them had ever performed comedy before but goodness did they impress.

All four comedians brought different entertaining strengths to the table but the most technically promising we believe was Guramatunhu whose brand of self-deprecating comedy was refreshing.

We’re keen to see a bit more of them all soon.
