Bulawayo’s Insingizi to share stage with Gregory Porter

Bulawayo trio Insingizi will be the support act for the Austrian leg of multi Grammy Award winner Gregory Porter’s 2017 European tour.

It all happens at Donaubühne Tulin on 22 July 2017.

Porter won the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2014 for Liquid Spirit and in 2017 for Take Me to the Alley. His debut album, Water, was nominated for Best Jazz Vocal album.

Zimbabwe’s Insingizi has seen its reputation grow in recent times with multiple China and USA tours as well opening for major sports events, the Special Olympics World Winter Games opening no less.

Insingizi are Vusa Mkhaya Ndlovu Dumisani “Ramadu” Moyo Blessings “Nqo” Nkomo.
