Zimbabwean film Cook Off is one of the films that has been chosen for the 16th edition of the prestigious Festival International du Film PanAfricain at Cannes, France.
The movie by Joe Njagu and Tomas Brickhill has already done the rounds at a few festivals. This will be a major feather in the cap as Zimbabwe film continues to make its way back into the international film family in earnest.
Njagu was excited:

The film stars Tendaishe Chitima who has been nominated for a Nama, Tendai ‘Tehn Diamond’ Nguni and Eddie Sandifolo among a great cast.
The fellas will be at Cannes between 17 and 21 April 2019.
