AUDIO: Local Artists Must Raise Their Game To Compete Globally – Mandiwanzira

Zimbabwe’s Media, Information and Broadcasting Services Deputy Minister Supa Mandiwanzira says artists need to up their game in order to compete on the global stage.

He said artists should also raise their game so that there would be no public outcry over stations being forced to play 75% local content.

He also called on artists to be original and not mimic foreign artists so as to be able to be able to export it.

Mandiwanzira was speaking at the launch of Cynthia Mare’s album Songs My Mother Loved this week.
