AUDIO: Jah Prayzah explains the meaning behind ‘Chitubu’ and the return to the traditional sound

So  as you will know, Jah Prayzah dropped a new song on Friday, the title track for his upcoming studio album, Chitubu.

He spoke exclusively to 3-mob.com a

Chitubu is a spring. It is spring which produces water that doesn’t finish.

As to the meaning behind the song:

There is a God in heaven and he produces blessings that never end. So that is what a chitubu is. The kind of spring that gives every single day even in times of drought.

As to the sound that he has in this song:

The fans complained because they wanted the old Jah Prayzah… I just felt like in any business, if you don’t listen to customers [you will suffer]. So on this album we decided to have a lot more traditional songs.
