AUDIO: An Artist Should Have Control Over The Music He Records – Victor Kunonga

Zimbabwean afro-beat artist Victor Kunonga says artists should have control on the recording processes so as to be able to articulate oneself artistically.

He was speaking to 3-mob.com during the festive holiday season after a lunch. The interview we had with him was wide-ranging and had  been sparked by our asking him about his upcoming album which he is working on. Sitting in on the discussion was Techtools MD Walter Wanyanya.

Kunonga told us that the decision to set up his own studio at home was based on his search for that control.

His album should be out by March, he says.
