AUDIO: A chat with the man behind Battle of the Chefs, Joseph Bunga

Season 3 of the top of the line reality show production is well under way and we took a moment to chat with the man behind it all who is also the executive producer Joseph Bunga.

Joseph Bunga PIC: Facebook

On what we should expect from this season:

Season 3 was about taking it to the next level. A lot of things was about refining things… There were little things like lighting, sound and there was that echo issue in season 2.  Focus to be a totally new quality to stand head and shoulders with the productions on DStv

On why they are so keen on ZBC

Bottom line is you have 1.6million people watching on DStv. On episode 3 we had 6,000 WhatsApp messages, so people were watching.

Bunga talks about changes to the team such as Thomas Brickhill moving from DOP to Director. He also walks through what was made the changes in quality.

On top of that he speaks of the vast work that goes into controlling aspects of the show including how many times an ingredient appears on a show. That is quality.

As for taking the show elsewhere. Bunga says Victoria Falls is feasible but Bulawayo not much. And also a Battle of the Chefs Kenya.
