A moment with… Thomas Chizhanje

Thomas Chizhanje is a marketer, social media practitioner and rapper.

Aged 32, he holds a Bachelors of Commerce in Business Management specialising in Marketing Honors Degree from MSU. Thomas is the current Social Media Ambassador for Brand Zimbabwe a [position he was appointed by the Minister of Tourism Hon Dr Eng. Walter Mzembi.

My government name is Thomas Chizhanje

I am popularly known as CST
(Chizhanje Samoht Thomas)
Samoht being the reverse of my first name (high school and college name lol)

So yah I like being called CST or my new name #ZariPrezzo from my social media hashtag #Zari cum Fashion label

What is the most ridiculous nickname you have ever had?
“Tomingo” lol

I value what God has given me and I would not want to do anything stupid to lose it lol

“Excited” is not the word but “shocked” is the word lol

Where is Zimbabwean music/social media going?
Zimbabwean music is being affected by our economic environment and this has a major effect on the quality of our audio and video productions and this is making it hard for the local artists to match their regional and international fellow artists.

Is the new dominant form of media that’s now in the game.
Organisations and individuals ignoring social media will eventually kill their brands.

Where is your career going?
I should be done with my MBA by next year. I also want to contribute extensively in the development of Social Media management in schools, colleges and corporates globally.
