Botswana Deports 13,000 Zimbabweans

Botswana has reportedly deported 13,199 Zimbabweans between January and September this year.

Over 18,000 were deported over the same period last year. That country says it expects the number to increase next year as  some Zimbabweans are expected to flee if the elections turn violent.

Deportees were reportedly picked up from door-to-door check-ups an kicked out of Botswana after being found to be staying there illegally.

South Africa has deported 10,000 in the same period. Most of those deportees find a way back to those countries.
