Zimbabwe international Tawanda Maswanhise is in line to experience his first ever match against Scottish champions Celtic on Sunday.
His Motherwell side takes on he giants later in the day, with Maswanhise kitting up against his erstwhile Leicester City manager Brendan Roders.
It was Rodgers who drafted the young Zimbabwean into the first team setup whilst still at the Foxes.
Maswanhise, who has donned gold and green of Zimbabwe five times, rarely made it into the Leicester team before he was surprisingly released at the end of the last season.
Motherwell initially offered him a three-month contract, which was extended to two years after he impressed.
Now Warriors fans can watch him on ESPN 2 (DStv channel 219) from 16.55hrs when Motherwell take on Celtic.
