The Zimbabwe international football sides have found out their opponents for regional and continental tournaments over the next month or so.

First, the Warriors return to the CHAN, facing Eswatini in the first round of qualifiers from 25 to 27 October 2024. Should they triumph, they will face a formidable challenge against Madagascar, who advanced directly to the second round.

A victory in that clash will secure Zimbabwe’s place in the prestigious CHAN finals, co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania from 1 to 28 February 2025.

CHAN is a tournament for locally-based players.

The Zimbabwe national women’s team has been drawn in Group D against Lesotho and Mozambique for the 2024 COSAFA Women’s Championship.

The event will be held in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, from 22 October to 2 November 2024.

Fourteen countries will compete in the sport. The teams are divided into four groups: two with four teams and two with three nations.

The four group winners will advance to the semifinals.

Finally, The CAF African Schools regional qualifiers have put the Zimbabwe Under-15 Boys and Girls with those from South Africa, Angola, and Eswatini into Group B. The competition is scheduled to take place in Namibia this week. The champions will represent their zone in the finals.
