US actor/singer Kris Kristofferson dies, check out his song with Chiwoniso Mararie

Multi-hyphenated US artist Kris Kristofferson has died.

The country singer-songwriter, who also had a magnificent acting career, passed away on Saturday at 88.

In a statement signed by his wife Lisa, his eight children and seven grandchildren, the family said Kristofferson “passed away peacefully” at home.

His acting spanned decades with many highlights, including a remake of A Star Is Born opposite Barbara Streisand and the role of Abraham Whistler in the three Blade movies with Wesley Snipes.

On the music front, Kristofferson scored numerous chart-toppers and collaborated with the best in the business.

However, very few know about a performance with the late Zimbabwean icon Chiwiso Maraire on a song called The Circle.
