Zimbabwe-born actor Pacharo Mzembe has hit the big time, as he is in Russel Crowe’s new movie, Sleeping Dogs.
Mzembe plays a Isaac Samuel, a prisoner on death row, in the crime mystery thriller directed by Adam Cooper.
Mzembe was born in Zimbabwe to Malawian parents.
The family moved to Queensland, Australia, when Mzembe was six.
He is an alumina of the prestigious National Institute Of Dramatic Arts (NIDA).
Mzembe has been a force on stage, TV and now film.
His talent has been recognised with numerous awards, including the “Best Performer” at the 36th Annual Green Room Awards.
