Zimbabweans living in the UK are set to benefit from a unique property event designed to connect them with secure investment opportunities back home.

The Zimbabwe Diaspora Property Showcase, organised by Zim Inspired Ltd on behalf of Seeff Zimbabwe, takes place on July 13, 2024, at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel.

This first-of-its-kind event aims to bridge the gap between Zimbabwean diaspora communities and the property market in their homeland. Organisers recognise the challenges some Zimbabweans abroad face when managing properties or considering investments due to concerns about unreliable agencies and distant family.

Empowering Through Information and Networking

The showcase offers a platform for secure and transparent property dealings. Over 40 exhibitors, including leading developers, financial institutions, legal specialists, and property consultants, will be present. Attendees can participate in panel discussions, attend informative presentations by industry experts, and network with professionals to gain valuable insights and build connections that can facilitate secure investments.

Industry Collaboration Fosters Growth

Powered by Seeff Zimbabwe, a prominent estate agency brand in the region, the showcase represents a collaborative effort within the Zimbabwean property sector. Patience Patongamwoyo, Managing Director and Licensee for Seeff Zimbabwe, expressed excitement about the event. “This showcase is a sign of faith,” she said, “demonstrating our commitment to strengthening the bridge between the vast Zimbabwean diaspora and the property industry in Zimbabwe.” Partnering with other industry giants, to be announced soon, further highlights the collective focus on fostering economic growth in Zimbabwe through diaspora investment.

Free Entry Encourages Participation

The Zimbabwe Diaspora Property Showcase offers free entry, thanks to sponsorship by Seeff Zimbabwe. Those interested are encouraged to register beforehand and can bring friends and family for a day filled with valuable information and networking opportunities.
