Zim PSL 2024 Matchday 1 Saturday roundup: Newboys hold Ngezi, Caps lose, FC Platinum win

Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League defending champions Ngezi Platinum made a stuttering start to their campaign, after they were held 0-0 by newly-promoted side Arenel Movers.

The brave Bulawayo side held out for a draw against their much-more fancied opponents.

Caps United lost 1-0 to Chicken Inn, courtesy of an Itai Mabhunu strike in the first half.

FC Platinum themselves won 1-0 against newboys Chegutu Pirates, with Juan Mutudza getting the solitary goal.

Green Fuels came back from behind to beat Bulawayo Chiefs 2-1. Panashe Shoko have Chiefs in the 55th minute, only Anelka Chivandire and Washington Mapuwa to win it late.

TelOne and ZPC Kariba drew 2-2.
