Mnangagwa appoints new Commander of the Air Force

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has appointed a new Commander of the Airforce of Zimbabwe (AFZ).

He has retired Air Marshal Elson Moyo and appointed Air Vice Marshal John Jacob Nzvede as the new Commander.

The change is with effect from 15 March 2024.

The president also appointed Chief medical Officer at the Sally Mugabe Central Hospital, Dr Christopher Pamhidza Pasi, as the Secretary of the Health Service Commission.
