Zimbabwe’s music industry has been cast into a pall of morning after the death of celebrated Afro-Jazz Musician Bob Nyabinde.
The legend, nicknamed Headmaster, had bene unwell for some time.
Said Dendera star Sulu Chimbetu on the death of Nyabinde, “I’m saddened to hear about the passing of the legendary Baba Bob Nyabinde. Your contributions to the Arts industry and the love you shared with everyone will always be remembered. May your soul rest in peace.”
US-based afro-jazz musician Clair Nyakujara said, “Rest in Peace my Father Mr Bob Nyabinde ..mufambe murugare ❤️❤️❤️”he had the biggest smile ,ever so loving and welcoming “ my condolences to the Nyabinde family may God give you comfort .A sad day for Zimbabwe”
He was 68.
