Violet Avoid alive – Husband

After the expansive news space said otherwise, the husband of Philippines-based filmmaker Violet Avoid says she is alive.

This is after it was reported widely that she had committed suicide.

Now her husband, Tichaona Martin Madzikanda, says news of her death is fake.

She is however unconscious and in hospital on life support after a severe case of food-poisoning in another province, according to Madzikanda.

Madzialkamda says the stories claiming Avoid had died did not come from him.

He says the news may have come from people she was working with sending messages to her contact list, thus causing the hullabaloo. There is also statements that may have been lost in translation as her workmates did not speak English well.
