With the recent passing of Matthew Perry, the actor who played Chandler Bing on the popular series Friends, we have been binge-watching the iconic show once again.
And so we are going to share 10 of his greatest moments.
1. The iconic Chandler dance
We have to start with this one. Chandler had that awkward dance, which became pretty much one of his signatures along with the sarcasm. Oh Chandler, that dance.
2. Moving to Yemen
When Janis and Chandler get together and all her annoying habits rock him back to his senses, he gets so desperate that he ends up going to Yemen, Chandler first tells her he is going to Yemen thinking she will then leave him. She insists on taking him to the airport and watching him get onto his plane. And he goes to Yemen.
3. In the box
After he kisses Joey’s girlfriend, Kathy, the punishment is that he sits in a box to do some thinking while everyone is having dinner. He doesn’t say much in the episode but when he mutters and interjects, it is priceless.
4. When he pees on Monica
When a jellyfish stings Monica, Joey remembers something he saw on the Discovery Channel, which showed that urine helped ease the pain. Joey fails but Chandler takes on the challenge. It is that sound he makes when the rest of the gang find out he did. That groan.
5. When he sleeps with Monica for the first time
While in London, Monica and Chandler hook up for the first time. The buildup is gold. And when we have that moment when the audience sees them for the first time, in the morning. Apparently, that was not supposed to become a thing. It became a thing.
6. When Monica chops off Chandler’s toe
Back in high school. Chandler had been mean to Monica. She revenged by trying to act sexy and at some point her knife falls on his wicker shoe and chops off a bit of his toe. It was funny. And it made their relationship better. And that dance Monica does at the end of it all, priceless.
7. The handcuffs scene
The scenes with Chandler and Rachel in this are comedy gold. And when Perry hits his head with the drawer, all accidental, he keeps it moving. The dedication was insanely amazing.
8. When he kisses Phoebe
Chandler and Monica keep their relationship out of the public eye. And the gang slowly finds out. It is Phoebe pretends to be attracted to him to see how far he would go which has great tension and premium entertainment. He kisses Phoebe but ultimately breaks and declares his love for Momica.
9. The numerous moments with Ross
Ross and Chandler go way back and their various moments including when they had a band called Emotional Knapsack, to the grown-up moments, their relationship is great. It is what makes friends and is solid.
10. Chandler and Joey friendship
Oh. The roommates. The buddies. The camaraderie. Joey and Chandler. No more J-Man and Channy’s.
