Mighty Warriors through to Cosafa Women’s Championship semi-final

Shadreck Mlauzi has led his Zimbabwe side to the semi-final of the Cosafa Women’s Championship in South Africa.

This is in spite of a 1-1 draw against Botswana.

Ennety Chemhere netted for Zimbabwe off an assist from the impressive Privilegde Mupeti in the fourth minute. Balotlhanyi Johannes denied Zimbabwe a win in the 86th minute.

The result sees the Mighty Warriors sitting top of Group C with an automatic qualification to the penultimate stage of the competition.

Zimbabwe now meet Zambia on Friday. The other side of the draw sees Malawi and Mozambique have a go for a slot in the final.
