Zimbabwe have won their second successive match on their return to the Cosafa Women’s Championship 2023 with a 2-0 win over Namibia on Monday.
Captain Rudo Neshamba opened the scoring for the Mighty Warriors, converting a Christabel Katano assist in the 17th minute.
Nobukhosi Ncube scored a wonderful goal off a free-kick in the 57th minute.
Zimbabwe had chances to add more goals, while Namibia fluffed some of their lines.
Shadreck Mluauzi’s charges are the only side yet to concede at this year’s competition.
In the other game, Botswana beat Lesotho 3-0.
