Priviledge Mupeti scored the all-important goal for Shadreck Mlauzi’s men as they reminded the world of what has made them a special team over the years.
Her successful effort came in the 58th minute of the match, a solo run culminating in a well-taken goal.
The Mighty Warriors were more threatening and incisive in the second half,
Their next match is against Namibia on Monday, before rounding off the group stage against Botswana on Wednesday.
