Malcolm Chikuhwa grabbed a fifer as his Gladiators Cricket Club side kept their 100% start in the National Premier League (NPL) as they beat Mbizo Cricket Club by seven wickets at Kwekwe Sports Club.
The pace bowler got both the top order and lower middle order to decapitate Mbizo at the knees. The newboys remain one of two teams who are winless this season.
Gladiators made light work of the chase, tracking it down in 12.1 overs, meaning 30 overs were bowled on the day.
For Mbizo, at least they got three wickets.

Takashinga 2 Cricket Club condemned winless Golden Bulls Crcket Club to another defeat, with an eight-wicket victory at Masvingo Sports Club.
Jimmy Nyangoni’s 45 was the standout performance for Golden Bulls who had been put in first. While Samuel Muyambo had a go too with his 18, it added to a total which did not offer much.
Baxon Gopito and Aliakbar Hamid put on 78 for the opening partnership, and while the latter fell for 49, along with Alvin Chiradza to Munashe Maworere, the total was never enough to hinder them.
