Zemura provides assist in Udinese’s Coppa Italia win

Zimbabwe international Jordan Zemura provided his first assist as an Udinese player as his side ran out 4-1 winners against second-tier punchers Catanzaro in the first round of the 2023/24 Copa Italia.

Zemura, who moved to Italy from English Premier League outfit Bournemouth, started the match and played 73 minutes in the match.

That was enough time for him to provide and assist for Beto, who scored The Little Zebras’ second goal.

The Warriors linchpin played at left-back.

Other goals came from Sandi Lovic, Florian Thauvin and Lorenzo Lucca, while Jari Vandeputte provided Catanzaro’s consolation effort.

Next up for Udinese is their Serie A opener against giants Juventus on 20 August 2023.

That match will be available to Zimbabwean viewers on SuperSport channel 225.
