Zimbabwe announces end to load-shedding

The Zimbabwe government on Tuesday suddenly announced an end to loadshedding.

Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Monica Mustvangwa said this in a press conference after the latest cabinet meeting.

“Cabinet noted with satisfaction that the Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority has announced the end to load-shedding,” Mutsvangwa said.

She did not indicate whether this was immediate or not. This is some areas in Bulawayo this publication was exposed had power outages.

Zimbabwe has been suffering from rolling blackouts which have inconvenienced businesses and the rest.
