Zimbabwe head coach Dave Houghton has backed Innocent Kaia to come good when the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023 gets underway.
He was speaking to #3mobTV after their match after the opener fell for a duck in the final warmup match against Scotland. He scored the same against Oman in the first game.
“In any competition or any series of games, there is always going to be somebody who is going to be struggling a little bit for runs. At the moment, that’s Inno,” the gaffer said.
“It’s unlucky for him, he’s had a few low scores. It was just three games ago when he scored 90,” Houghton continued.
On the spin front he talked up using a lot more of the spinners took part against Scotland.
On his message to the fans, says he wants the team to continue exciting cricket.
