In tragic news coming out of South African, multi-award-winning rapper AKA has been shot dead in Durban.
Real name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, he was shot dead in an apparent driveby shooting in the famous Florida Road in Morningside.
His friend was also killed while his bodyguard was injured.
It is understood that AKA was standing outside the Wish Restaurant when he was gunned down in a drive-by shooting.
An event he was supposed to go as part of birthday plans was cancelled.
His final tweet at 9.26pm on Friday, said, “I think when Mass Country goes platinum. Deal?”
