Petrol price goes up – 16 November 2022

The price of petrol blend E20 went up this week, according to new tariffs released by the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (Zera).

E20 refers to the fact that petrol is blended with 20 parts of ethanol per litre.

So what is it now?

It was USD1.57 last week and now sits at USD1.60. The price of Diesel remains unchanged.

So all is as follows:

• Diesel 50 (ZWL/ litre) – $1 101.84
• Blend — E20 (ZWL/ litre) – $1 022.47
• Diesel 50 (US$ / litre) – $1.73
• Blend — E20 (US$/litre) – $1.60
