Parker hoping for Zemura contract extension

AFC Bournemouth coach Scott Parker remains hopeful that Zimbabwe internnational Jordan Zemura will sign a contract extension soon.

He was speaking ahead of the Cherries’s return to the English Premier League, where they face Aston Villa match day one.

Zemura, 22, joined Cherries in the summer of 2019, following a successful trial period

Parker was quoted in the Birmingham Echo, speaking about Zemura ad Jaidon Anthony, as saying, “Yeah, I hope so. I hope that will be the case. I hope there’s a resolution to both of them. I don’t know at this present moment in time exactly where that is sitting.”

Zemura is in line to make his debut against fellow Zimbabwean Marvelous Nakamba’s Aston Villa on Saturday. The match is live on SuperSport Variety 1.
