First off, this is an earworm folks. That Solo from Gemma Griffiths is just gonna stick in your head and it will become your thing.
On a real, it is great to see Charlie Kay out of the booth and share the light in the front. And he does well in this new joint called Solo which also features South African hip hop megastar Cassper Nyovest.
It dances on you, this song does. It feels a lot of things from the tender and the need to move to a rhythm. In essence, it is tasty infectious. Delicately so.
The video is deliberate and appropriate for the genre. And perhaps that is where we get a bit meh’d. It is appropriate, right, ticks the boxes and does the trick.
