This is a song with a lot of hurt from super Bulawayo rapper Meet Luminus called Nkelo. It is off the new EP Love, Sex & Gospel.
The emotion is potent and offers an often unexplored section of performative rap in Zimbabwe. You feel his hurt in his voice.
I hope nobody loves you.
Deep.
And for that, this is a walk towards a win.
We prevaricate over we would have liked it to have a second verse but there is a lot of power in its brevity.
