Zim fuel down in USD, up in ZWL

The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (Zera) has announced a slight reduction in the price of fuel in US dollars but an upward review in the local currency.

Diesel now costs US$1.86 down from US$1.88 per litre while Petrol (Blend E15) is now US$1.76 down from US$1.77 per litre. 

In the local currency, diesel now costs ZWL$714.91 up from 699.62 per litre. Petrol (Blend – E15) now costs ZWL$677.32 up from 659.80 per litre.

The movement in the local currency is due the hemorrhaging local currency.
