French side Stade de Reims have pushed back at rumours of a possible transfer of their Zimbabwean star midfielder Maeshall Munetsi.
This is after speculation that English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion were hunting for his signature.
Reims club president Jean-Pierre Caillot was quoted as sayin, “He has just extended and is untransferable.”
Munetsi did sign a new contract in May, tying his future the club until 2025/26 season.
The Daily Mail says his numbers such as defensive duels won in a match ahead of the likes of Aurelien Tchouameni who joined Real Madrid from Monaco earlier this month and Boubacar Kamara who left Marseille for Aston Villa.
The 26 year-old midfield marshall scored five goals and had two assists last season.
