UAE lifts travel ban on citizens from Zimbabwe, 11 other African countries

The United Arab Emirates has announced that it has lifted a travel ban on citizens from 12 African countries including Zimbabwe.

The countries in total are, Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Nigeria, the Republic of Congo, South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, and Zimbabwe.

Citizens from those countries must be vaccinated and have a booster shot to travel.

The ban has been in place for months after the advent of the Covid-19 Omicron Variant.
