TROPICAL CYCLONE BATSIRAI: Here is what you need to know

It is the season and well, it is not a good look for the reagion when it comes to the wet season.

What is happening?

Tropical Cyclone Batsirai formed in the Indian Ocean a few days ago and is to affect the region in various ways.

What will happen?

 According to the SADC climate services; Tropical Cyclone Batsirai is expected to directly affect main island Mauritius and parts of Madagascar between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Where else will it affect things?

These countries, Comoros, Seychelles, northern Malawi, Namibia, Tanzania, Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo, East Angola, parts of South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe will experience heavy rains.

So is it like Cyclone Idai?

No. it will directly affect Mauritius and Madagascar and is expected to lose intensity. But there is some uncertainty so be careful.
