Woman Donates Kidney To Boss, Gets Fired

There’s a woman in Long Island, USA, who says she was fired from her job after donating a kidney to her boss.

So here is how the story goes- Debbie Stevens offers her kidney to her friend and boss, Jackie Brucia.

After the transplant Stevens claims Brucia gave her the cold shoulder, pressured her to work and even transferred her to a sister dealership 50 miles away where she says eventually she was forced out.

Debbie Stevens told Eye Witness News that she never heard the words “thank you”. Instead, she heard “you’re fired”. She also denies that she donated the kidney for job security.

Now, her lawyers have filed suit against Jackie Brucia and the company she works for.

Stevens says she doesn’t know if she wants her job back, but when asked if she wants her kidney back, she wasn’t sure what to say.

If there is a lesson to be learnt from this whole story is to never give your boss your kidney or any other part of your body.

If you give your boss that kidney they will think you have a hold on them and will do everything to make sure that they show they at they still have a hold on you.
