Benyu called up for Zimbabwe Afcon squad

Iceland-based forward Kundai Benyu has been called up to the Zimbabwe squad for the Africa Cup of Nations finals in Cameroon.

Benyu was confirmed by Zimbabwe manager Wellington Mpandare.

They will meet the Vistra striker in Ethiopia on Wednesday, on their way to Cameroon.

Five other European based players will join the squad in Cameroon as coach Norman Mapeza takes part in his maiden performance.

The Warriors are in Group B together with giants Senegal, Guinea and Southern African neighbours, Malawi.
