Asaph signs to Def Jam Africa

The cat is out of the proverbial bag.

Award-winning rapper Zimbabwe rapper Asaph has signed to Def Jam Africa.

In a post, the label said, “We officially welcome Zimbabwe’s finest Asaph to the Def Jam Recordings Africa family! We’re extremely excited to create even more legendary music with you.”

The details surrounding the deal are not clear.

Some major artists signed Def Jam Africa include Nadia Nakai, Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, Larry Gaaga, Boity, Tshego, Ricky Tyler, Vector and Tellaman.
