ZimThrive postponed

The organisers of the anticipated ZimThrive series of events have announced another postponement of the initiative.

The statement released to 3-mob.com said:

It is with great sadness once again that we have to put a halt to our scheduled plans for this December due to the return of more restrictions and a new variant that once again threatens to put us all back into lockdowns all over the world. With our mission of always putting health and safety first we have to unfortunately postpone Zimthrive from the dates of 15-19 December to new dates that we will announce early in the new year. With many of our friends in different diasporan hotspots cancelling their trips and the government putting quarantine in place for new arrivals we have found it best to make this decision. We are very grateful to you all. Your continued support and commitment to ZimThrive’s purpose is inspiring. You have continued to remain engaged with our platform inspite of the roadblocks that the last 2 years has presented. Your hope and belief in the future of our country will carry us forward Its always very important to note that Zimthrive is much more about just getting together for events but more about facilitating opportunities and engagement with many of our local communities in Zimbabwe and see how we can engage with them for a better Zimbabwe. Please stay engaged and we will be in touch soon enough with plans for the new year.
