Zimbabwe’s Langton Rusere has made his debut at the prestigious ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.
Sure, his official debut will be his standing for the Netherlands-Namibia preliminary group stage tie.
On the business end, which is the Super 12, Rusere is among the match officials for the big opening tie between Australia and South Africa.
Rusere serves as the TV umpire with Michael Gough and Nitin Menton. That means he handles the DRS.
Rusere is one of 20 officials at the format’s global showpiece happening in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman.
He is there as the first Zimbabwean to officiate at that level.
