Zimbabwe add two as Darikwa is ruled out

Zimbabwe have added two players to their team for the 2022 Fifa World Cup Qualifier against Ghana at the National Sports Stadium in Harare, Tuesday.

“Takudzwa Chimwemwe & Gerald Takwara have been added to the squad that lost 1-3 to Ghana”, read a tweet by the Zimbabwe Football Association.

While most of the England-based players are available, Tendayi Darikwa is out of the team attending to family matters in England.

The Warriors have lost two of their first three matches in the group. They lost 3-1 to Ghana in the Cape Coast on Tuesday.

The Zimbabwe squad jets in at 12.35hrs on Monday.
