Zimbabwe’s preparations for the ICC Women’s World Cup Global Qualifier got a shot in the arm with the confirmation that Bangladesh Women will tour the country ahead of the tournament.
With Ireland expected in a few weeks, this will give Zimbabwe Women much needed game time as they prepare for the tournament which they are hosting.
Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will play a three-match ODI series before getting into a bubble for the qualifier.
This will mark Bangladesh’s first international assignment since the T20 World Cup held in Australia in February-March last year.
They will travel to Zimbabwe around the 5th of November 2021.
The qualifying event, delayed twice due to the pandemic, will run from 21 November to 5 December 2021.
