Mapeza named Warriors interim coach

FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza has been named interim coach of the national team.

The announcement by the Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) and he replaces the sacked Zdravko Logarusic.

Mapeza will be assisted by  Taurai Mangwiro and Mandla Mpofu, while Energy Murambodoro will be the goalkeepers’ coach.

He is to take care of Zimbabwe’s World Cup campaign.

Mapeza has been coach of Zimbabwe four times before, either in interim or full time capacity.
