Tamutswa Muzana was born on the 2nd of January 1977 and went to school at St Michael’s Primary in Buhera, St Judes Primary Nyazura, Mavhudzi and Waddilove High School. Tamutswa is a lawyer with Tapera Muzana and Partners. He is a member of Gourd of Consciousness Poetry and enjoys writing poetry in both Shona and English, he is found in a number of Shona anthologies, such as Chitubu Chenduri, Mayngira, Mafuro enduri

POEM
The Ultimate Seeds

The children are the ultimate seeds,
And all the other seeds rank lower,
And all these other seeds rank lower
And they should serve the existence of the true seeds,
The seeds of the future

The world has turned tipsy turvy,
As the people now hero worship the ordinary seeds,
Heightening their craving for money and wealth,
Above the ultimate seeds,
Accumulating obscene wealth while neglecting the real seeds,
Causing mayhem on our demise,
As we leave the unbridled true seeds with money and no character,
And they ride with the wealth to their own demise

The true seeds are the leaders of tomorrow,
If we fail on them then the world is in turmoil,
As no other seed can save the world,
Accept the true seed,
Which is well preserved for posterity and more!
