Zimbabwe’s government has outlined an emergency plan to get rid of congestion in Harare.
This was announced by Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Monica Mutsvangwa at a post-cabinet briefing in Harare on Tuesday.
“Cabinet considered and approved measures for the elimination of congestion and installation of proper lighting in the country’s urban areas,” she said.
The programme, which has wide-ranging measures, will be piloted in Harare, before being rolled out to the rest of the country, Mutsvangwa said.
