5 March 2021: 25 new Covid-19 cases, 1 death, 557 vaccinations

Zimbabwe reported its lowest number of vaccinations since the exercise started according to latest data from the Ministry of Health and Child Care published on Friday.

557 frontline workers were inoculated during the reporting period, bringing the cumulative total to 31,235.

There were 25 new Covid-19 infections and with 127 recoveries, this brought the active cases to 1,005.

One death was recorded.

As at 5 March 2021, Zimbabwe had 36,248 confirmed cases, including 33,759 recoveries and 1,484 deaths.

Zimbabwe is under a lockdown with adjustments and curfews. The conditions are as below:
