24 February 2021: 50 new Covid1-9 cases, 8 deaths, 2,074 vaccinations

Zimbabwe’s new Covid-19 infections and deaths as well as actve cased remained somewhat steady according to new data from the Ministry of Health and Child Care on Wednesday.

There were 50 new Covid-19 cases recorded, Harare, with 13 reporting the highest.

There were 122 recoveries meaning a moderate decrease in active cases to 2,094.

Eight deaths were reported.

2,074 vaccinations took place bringing the total to 7,872.

As at 24 February 2021, Zimbabwe had 35,960 confirmed cases, including 32,410 recoveries and 1,456 deaths.

Zimbabwe is currently under an extended adjusted level four lockdown which runs until 1 March 2021.
