Mnangagwa adjusts lockdown, changes curfew and working hours

Zimbabwe president Emmerson Mnangagwa has announced the extension of lockdown by two weeks with adjustments.

The changes are as follows

  1. Working hours- 08:00-1700 hrs
  2. Curfew from 20.00hrs to 05.30hrs
  3. Funerals still at 30 people
  4. Intercity travel banned
  5. Essential services to remain functional
  6. Government manning levels to 25%
  7. Private companies seeking resumption should test employees before opening
  8. Judiciary open for urgent cases
  9. Schools to remain closed for duration of extension
  10. Markets remain open
  11. Informal sector can open after satisfied WHO protocols.
